My name is Radha Lath, and I have two autistic kids. After nearly two decades of parenting, loving, errors and triumphs, I felt inspired to write some of my observations and thoughts. What a journey it’s been, and continues to be.

The header images are all done by my older child, whom I refer to here as R (G in older posts). An avid interest in drawing, plus a wicked sense of humor, and an experienced sibling’s perception of autism–what could be a better combo. To R’s delight, I pay actual money for each illustration. I believe very much in artistic endeavors being compensated.

New Jersey is a great place to be for autism families, though I think we could be doing a lot more to help families feel integrated. I hope you enjoy my essays. Please acknowledge my blog if you quote my writings in any way. Thank you for reading!
