Desi culture has kindness and regard for the young, just not for our beloveds

We had to prepare for a scenario that did not involve us returning home safely

Part of how we love is through eternal vigilance

We cannot afford to indulge in vapid innocence

What else we do besides fight for our lives. Musically speaking.

We are none of us perfect. But we should not be proud of being ineducable

We can unknowingly co-opt other people’s causes and beliefs, and twist them into something else entirely

We just never know what will lodge inside our heads and mess us up

We are the real witches
